Freightportal was founded in 2012, its main goal being to revolutionize the transport market.
The idea behind this website arose during the economic crisis, which took its toll on the (petro) chemical and the transport industry specifically.
This justified the need to design a tool where shippers, traders and transporters could save costs by creating a web based dynamic supply and demand model and resulted in the website where you find yourself today.
A secondary advantage to the potential cost savings is the reduction of so called empty mileage, resulting in a reduced Co2 output which positively influences your carbon footprint.
Being suitable for bulk, tank containers, LCL/FCL and anything in between, this website offers possibilities for everyone.
